Dear Dancers Disco Club is aiming to create the party we want to attend ourselves: a disco night where the atmosphere and energy is the same on the dancefloor as in the booth. This one is for the dancers: we see you, because we are you.
With a focus on prestigeless fun we kindly invited Paris-based Louise Chen to bring over her favourite records;
Half Taiwanese-half French and currently based in Paris, Louise Chen founded the Girls Girls Girls night at Social Club in 2012. Originally starting off as a hip-hop and R&B DJ, Louise has grown up with sampling culture and has been a crate-digger for a long time with the endless quest to look for soul, funk, disco and jazz. Today she hosts radio shows at Le Mellotron, The Lot Radio in New York, has a monthly segment on Radio Nova & DJs alongside acts like Floating Points, GE-OLOGY, Sadar Bahar, Hunee, and Moodymann to name a few. Louise is also hosting and promoting parties under her own pun; Chentertainment.
Louise will be sharing the bill with White Lie: Swedish Berlin-based local DJ, frequent guest host at Le Mellotron and Rinse France and curator of Dear Dancers Disco Club who’s been playing recent gigs in her homebase Berlin as well as in Paris.
We’re dancing, that’s what we’re doing.
