The HR & Digital Careers Meetup is a regular event organized by Gründerszene Jobbörse for everyone interested in Human Resources in times of digitalization. Core topics will vary depending on our speakers, who will be experts in e.g. HR innovation, new work, leadership, employer branding, digital careers or legal issues.
After the knowledge sessions (approx. 1h), followed by a Q&A, there will be extensive networking time with cool drinks and snacks.
Sina Landorff (Digital Media & Communication Specialist): On the face of it! Adding insights into candidates screening by reading their face
To make a long story short: Your face says it all. The question is simply whether you are able to perceive and deconstruct the secret language of reading someone's face or not? Language is usually based on social acceptance and acquired behavior. We know what to say and what not to say through societal restrictions and from 'what mum told us'.
For this reason, our true character often remains undercover. Picture yourself asking the question 'ARE YOU A TEAMPLAYER?' Assuming only very few candidates would answer 'no' to this critical question to get the job. What if you were able to automatically understand a candidate or colleague and determine whether they are more productive on their own or in a team? In her presentation, Sina wants to introduce you to a language you can only read and not speak: Face Reading.

Change management: Technology & Culture in Love — How we changed our product, our brand, our mindset and the way we work
A 70 year old classical newspaper (WELT) is merging with a well-known TV news station (N24) to create a completely new media brand. Two very successful digital platforms including websites and apps have to be completely rebuilt into one new digital platform, while facing the challenges of merging two organizations with different cultures.
— I will describe how we started the process of change five years ago and how we fought with resistance inside and outside of the organization.
— I will show what we have changed, what this change impacted and how long it took to get clear results.
— I will talk about how we used agile processes and modified scrum to make these tools work for our needs.
— I will share our learnings as well as failings from a product and organizational perspective
