Leelo is a singer-songwriter and a musician from Tartu, Estonia. She began as a classical flute player in Tartu and continued to study music at University of Sussex. After graduating she thought she shouldn't be a musician at all because everything she created sounded like shit. To embark on a journey to find one' s calling, she flew to Australia where she ended up buying a cheap guitar and writing lots of music. She still thinks that some of it sounds like shit. The music can be best described as melancholic indie rock, with emphasis on the vocals and lyrics.
She hopes that in the near future some other super awesome musicians come and jam with her so the songs could be made even cooooler
VERA is a Berlin based singer/songwriter who hails originally from Freiburg, Germany. Her songs are journeys through her landscapes of thought and experience. The natural ease in which she combines lyrics, rhythm and melody — with the tiniest whispers or sudden roars of passion, give away her obvious natural talent. A sense of someone with an old hand at song writing who is still very excited in reaching her full musical potential.
Of French descent, Claudie’s music is as much an expression of her love for American classics as it is an articulation of her heritage. With a voice as distinctive as Stevie Nicks and Bonnie Raitt, she’s a modern American blues artist writing songs in the vein of Ma Rainey and Billie Holiday. Claudie’s music has a style and a force to it that the blues and soul greats would envy. 27-years-old and working full time, she has beat out fierce competition to win the University of Chicago’s battle of the bands four years in a row and has opened for Santigold, Broken Social Scene, the Dirty Projectors, Damian Marley, Nas, Crystal Castles, Wale and Voxtrot among others. Claudie has played the Chicago, Nashville and San Francisco music scenes and is now re-launching her music career in Berlin.
