NOTES OF BERLIN — A Live Presentation (Open Air on the Mobile Kino Big Screen)
Notes of Berlin
Germany's largest community blog NOTES OF BERLIN joins MOBILE KINO for a special live presentation. It's the age of the internet with Facebook and Twitter on mobile phones yet somehow Berlin has managed to hold onto the simplest form of communication — The Note.
In Berlin you can find them in your hallways, on your street-posts or in your ubahn-stations. Notes of paper with a written message pinned up for everyone to see or in some cases just for one particular person to read. If you pay attention to them they reveal the everyday life of a city giving deep insight into what its citizens think and feel. What bothers people and what matters so much that they must write their thoughts down for everyone to read.
Berlin is full of these sometimes wonderful, sometimes charming, a lot of the time passive aggressive, but always informative notes and NOTES OF BERLIN has been dedicated to compiling the cities best. Everyday since October 2010, the blog publishes daily with at least one of Berlin's cherished notes. Mobile Kino is happy to invite the blogs founder Joab Nist who will be presenting a selection of Berlin's best notes. Come and join in on the experience and get some insight into Berlin's addiction to post notes.
After the presentation MOBILE KINO has put together a program of short films made in Berlin.

Address: Sonnenallee 221, Neukölln (Behind S-Bahn Sonnenallee)
